    Bamboo is a kind of tall and fast-growing grass, widely spreaded in tropical, subtropical to warm temperate
zone and mostly centrolized in the East Asia, Southwest Asia, and Islands of Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean.
The bamboo stem, tall and straight, slim, four season green, and resistant frost and rain, are popular with
Chinese People. Bamboo is titled as one of the four gentlemen "plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum" and three friends of winter "plum, pine and bamboo". There are many Chinese scholors now and in the past love and praise bamboo.
    Bamboo is a kind of forest resourses. There are about 70 generas and 1200 species of the plant of bamboo. Most of bamboo distribute in tropical, subtropical temperate zone and a few in warm and cold temperate zone.
Bamboo is a ever-green shollow root plant (a few bamboo species fallen leaves in dry season). Bamboo is sensitive and it has high requirements of heat and hydration. The ditribution of heat and hydration on the surface of earth determined the geological distribution of bamboo. Located in tropical and southern tropical zone and affected by the gathering of season wind of the Pacific and Indian Ocean, the southeast Asia, with substantial
rain amount and stable heat quantity is the ideal growing ecological environment of Bamboo and the center of
world bamboo distribution. Generally, planted with mixed forests, bamboo forests is growing under the main
forests and spread its strong subterranean stems under the ground. So, in recent decades, the area of bamboo forests are decreasing for years.
    At present, most of the bamboo forests in the world is still uncultivated and in severe deforestration and low level operation and managementa and output. Since the 1980's , some of the tropical and subtropical country are paying highly attention to the bamboo industry production. Among which, China and Japan have a long
history and management level of bamboo.

    Sure, only if there is firber, it can be made into clothing.
How can the hard bamboo be made into cloth?
    First, spin out fibre from the bamboo.
What is the color of orginal bamboo fiber, green or white?
    It should be yellow and gray, that is the natural color of bamboo.
Is it elastic or tough?
    It shoud be elastic, because the bamboo fiber has elastic in itself, and there are air gap in the cloth.
