1. Ceramic Utensils
Ceramic Utensils contain a small amount of ingredients harmful to human health-"lead". When bought back, soaking and boiling the ceramic utensils in 4% vinegar water.
Secondly, the newly-bought ceramic utensils should best be boiled in salt water for a while, so that it won't be easy to break in use and can extend its life.
Cleaning ceramic utensils should first dissolve grease in hot water, then wipe with cloth, and last washing with cold water. Turn the utensils on the cabinet shelves or disinfection cabinet.
2. Plastic Utensils
Plastic Utensils are easily attached to grease and bacteria. If it's not thoroughly cleaned, it's easy to attract cockroaches, mosquitoes and flies. Wash with mild detergent for several times. Remove the residues of detergent with hot water. There is no need to use the cloth to dry (because cloth is also a way to spread bacteria). It's okay to dry naturally in air.
3. Stainless Steel Utensils
Be sure not to serve in salt, soy sauce, and soup etc, because these foods contain a lot of electrolytes, long time in contact with this kind of food will cause stainless steel react with the electrolyte and toxic metals will be dissolved out.
Do not use strong alkaline or oxidizing chemical agents, such as soda, bleaching powder, sodium hypochlorite to wash them.
4. Melamine Utensils
Melamine utensils are not suitable for microwave ovens, disinfection cabinet, and oven use, otherwise it will crack. Sterilize with boiling hot water and clean with a soft cloth. Be sure not to use scouring pads, steel balls and alike to clean the surface of the utensils, because it will rub the surface rough and make it more vulnerable to pollution.
